"Alpha"- Acrylics On Canvas 20X31 Nature is an amazing thing. Regardless of species, instincts drive the need to protect one's own family. This wolf stands his ground against all intruders. We live in a beautiful world, but one still has to remain alert to the less beautiful elements that come with it.
"Last Day Of The Roses"- Acrylics On Canvas 24X36 I was enjoying a visit to the Headquarters grounds of the Unity Church in Lee's Summit, Missouri when I came to the famous Rose Gardens. They have been the venue of many weddings over the years. Parked in one corner was a small ATV with a trailer in tow. It was filled with the morning's cuttings from the efforts of the diligent gardeners who tend this wonderful garden. This was the last day for all of these roses yet they still held their beauty to the end.
"Maple Morning"- Acrylics On Canvas 14X28 How wonderful is the maple tree in the Fall? I stood under this one and was bathed with orange light filtering through the tree's canopy. These trees, in my opinion, are the most beautiful of all trees when in its Fall plumage.
"Prairie Thunder"- Acrylics On Canvas 18X26 I love to paint 'energy'. Viewers should 'feel' the motion and excitement in my paintings if I execute them correctly. The power and grace of horses is part of their innate beauty. Mustangs still rule the open country in our Western plains. Here, a herd of mustangs escape the fires that often crop up in their ranges.
